FOGBLOSSOM ⸻⸻⸻⸻ HE/she ⬩ EMBERCLAN warrior VOICE CLAIM: Andrew Rannells ⸻⸻⸻⸻ WORD COUNT: 490 TAGS: Mykel |
✿ Fogblossom slowly opened his dark olive-green eyes, blinking against the dim light filtering through the storm clouds. He stretched out his front legs and arched his back, feeling the stiffness of sleep graciously leaving his muscles. With a soft yawn, the bob-tailed warrior rose from his comfy moss nest, looking over at the brown-haired tom that was still very much fast asleep. Fogblossom watched Sunchaser in silent for a few moments before reaching over and prodding the oriental warrior in their right side.
"Stop that." Sunchaser growled lowly, not moving or even opening their eyes as they remained curled up within their own nest, "Let me sleep.." Any feline that had a lick of common sense would heed the tomcat's one and only warning, simply moving on and going about their day. However, Fogblossom was not someone that would give up that quickly—or easily, much to the ultimate dismay of Sunchaser. He just wanted a damn nap.
"But I'm booooored.. Let's go do something." The grey-and-white cat expressed dramatically, allowing himself to fall over onto Sunchaser, who uttered an irritated groan in response, "Can't we go hunting? Please?"
"And since when did you require a chaperone to do so?" Sunchaser remarked, their gold-hued eyes finally opening as the dark-brown warrior sent a sharp glare Fogblossom's way, "Go hunt by yourself. You aren't a nursery kitten." With that, they'd close their eyes again, wanting more rest as they had said earlier. Sunchaser already knew well enough that it would not be enough to make the other warrior leave them to their sleep.
"But then who's gonna keep me company? Hunting alone is no fun, you know that." Fogblossom mewed, rolling onto his backside while still propped up against Sunchaser, "You gotta get up sometime. If you go and stay in bed all day, then Singestar or Grayflame is gonna yell at youuuuu..." To be honest, he did not actually know if that would actually happen or not, but truthfully, Fogblossom was saying whatever'd come to his mind as an attempt to wake Sunchaser. He was a persistent little shit.
"Ooooh noooo, whatever will I do?" The tall warrior replied, clearly not phased by Fogblossom's so-called threat, "Wouldn't you also be yelled at for being here, annoying me this whole entire time, instead of, oh you know, being out doing something actually productive?" Nobody on this island scared Sunchaser, but the bobtail would not accept defeat.
"Yeeeeah, probably." The grey-and-white cat sighed, "But it would be your fault because you want to be asleep all dang day... Come on.." Fogblossom finally heaved himself off Sunchaser and looked at the dark brown tomcat with the biggest, wettest, most pathetic cute-eyes that one cat could muster up. "...Are you really gonna make little ol' me go out there all alone? ..Who else will save me if a mean stinky ocelot tries to gobble me up?" Surely, that shall convince them to accompany him.
