Site & Roleplay Rules

1. Treat all members and staff with respect. Bigotry, hate, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

• Do not make unwanted critiques or criticize another member’s writing unless they specifically ask for such.
• Our site is inclusive and welcoming to characters of all genders and sexual orientations.
  

2. One account per roleplayer. All of your characters should be played and managed on the same account.

3. If a rule is broken, depending on the severity, staff will decide to either simply nudge a member on the issue or issue an official warning depending on the severity.

• Official Warning 1 → Official Warning 2 → Official Warning 3 → Ban
• If a member remains on good behavior, official warnings decay monthly.
• Nudges are given on the note of minor infractions that don’t merit an official warning.

4. Ban-evading is not allowed. If you are permanently banned from this site, respect that decision.

5. All artwork must be credited if you do not own it, this includes: any bases, linearts, picrews and generators.

• The use of AI-generated artwork, including but not limited to images, character designs, and any other forms of visual content, is not allowed on this forum. This includes both posting AI-created art directly and using such artwork in avatars, signatures. 
  

6. We are an English only forum, so all posts must in be English only.

7. Avoid starting discussions related to religion, politics, or other typically controversial topics. There are better places for these types of topics, as a warrior cat roleplaying forum we are not the place.

• Do not discuss, post about, or link to illegal content. This includes hacking, scams, and malware.
  

8. Trigger warnings should be used for any content that involves potentially disturbing or upsetting content, such as extreme mental states, mental breakdowns, eating disorders, gore/violence that goes beyond a PG rating, childbirth, abuse, self-harm, or suicide, among others.

• When in doubt, be courteous and use a trigger warning.

9. The website is 13+ age only. Canon-typical violence and gore is expected but use content warnings when needed. We permit the following curse words: damn, ass, hell, crap, and shit. All other curse words are not allowed. Do not swear directly at other members.

10. Feel free to reach out to staff with questions, concerns, or inquires.

• For appealing a decision made by staff contact either wren or doge either on site or through discord.

1. All members have 10 character slots. Additional character slots can be earned occasionally through events.

2. Characters are not allowed to possess special powers of any sort.

3. New clans cannot be created by members. Official rouge organizations can be plotted, but their plot, premise, and motives must be formally approved by staff.

4. Characters with disabilities or neurodivergent cats are permitted. These characters must be play with caution and staff will intervene if a member does not handle a condition with respect.

5. Characters can only have realistic coat colors and eye colors that can be seen in real-life domesticated cats. 

6. Characters may have accessories that are already common within the warrior cat fandom. These can be things such as collars, flowers, or feathers.

• Members can also ask staff if they are unsure if a certain accessory is allowed.

• Feathers are not allowed to be on the head or behind a character's ear due to real-life appropriation of certain cultures.

7. Characters on age up by one moon for every real-life month. This is in order to prevent timelines from falling stagnant, members are expected to keep track of the ages for their characters.

8. Characters can only move up in rank upon completing ceremony requirements.

9. We do not have any official bans or encouragements on character creations stated for the clans at this point in time. If we should ever need one it will be announced in order to help balance the numbers within the clans.

10. The naming of clan cats must remain in a realistic spectrum. Our roleplay setting allows for prefixes and suffixes from sub-tropical regions + canon.

• We are pretty lenient when it comes to naming and can accept certain prefixes/suffixes on a case-by-case basis. If you're unsure just ask!
• Outsiders can realistically have any name, however, staff will reject offensive or unpleasant names that do no align with the rules of the site.
  
• Prefixes cannot repeat within the same clan, prefixes become available again within a clan once the character dies.
  

11. Clan characters are subjected to routine activity checks. On a monthly basis, the allegiances are pruned of characters that have not been posted with in over a month. Characters that aren't part of the clans or spirits do not have activity checks.

12. Abnormally large or small cats are permitted, within reason. No cat, unless a former kittypet, may be a purebred feline.

• Certain conditions such as albinism must have staff approval to be used. These conditions are extremely rare and, in the case of albinism, may not be super realistic for the setting of the roleplay. Abnormalities that are common and not drastic such as polydactyly, folded/curled ears, or bobbed tails are acceptable.
