Dogskull sneered at Piperpecks little obviouse jab at the amount of apprentices he had with him. Though they were right. The rock formation was designed to hold only 4 medicine cats at a time. Dogskull watched as the beach dweller was the first one to enter the water and make her way to the middle of the pool of water. Then her own apprentice went after. Then Patchpaw. Dogskull turned to look at Darkpaw as if waiting for him to go in next. Dogskull let out a small hmph before taking his own steps into the cold water. Dogskull always hated this part about the meetings. If he found a way to ever get across without getting wet then he would use it in a blink. Too bad this is all he has to work with now.
Dogskull let out breaths as he swam. The emberclan medic wasn't the best swimmer and you could tell. The chimera would just ignore any jabs his fellow medic had.
The tom finally made it to the middle and carefully got out of the water. The tom shook his pelt before taking a seat next to Patchpaw. The tom stared at the brown and white tabby before looking over at the bank.
"We don't have all night, Darkpaw. Hurry up."
Dogskull called with his usual monotone of voice. Dogskull scooted a little to make more room for the dark apprentice. The medic didn't need either of his apprentices falling into the water while they all walked in the land of dreams.
